Addition of 'Aropax' to lead
[edit]I see this hasn't been discussed however, for the sake of a large Anglophone group in the Western World (including New Zealand, as well as a multitude of other South Pacific Island nation-states who purchase from Australian companies), I think the Trade name 'Aropax' should be included for searches by readers. I believe that the addition of one more Trade name is not a contravention of WP:NOTADVERTISING, nor is it WP:UNDUE/WP:PROMO any more than are "Paxil and Seroxat" (already being used in the lead). These may be common trade names in the US and/or Britain, but those names are never used over this side of the Anglophone world.
Please note that I am officially declaring that I have absolutely no WP:COI issues on this matter. I have no affiliation with any drug companies, nor do I know anyone who works for, distributes, etc. for any drug company. I have had no one approach me and ask that I endorse the product.
Note, also, that I am adding an addition reference which seems to be heavily drawn on, but not declared for this article available @ this link. There may be some problems with the article, but I'll run a check using the Wikipedia & other tools available before I comment further. Iryna Harpy (talk) 02:10, 28 May 2019 (UTC)
Binding profile
[edit]The ki's listed would benefit from (1) clarifying the source data point instead of adding references to the table header and (2) using only the minimum number of references required.―Biochemistry🙴❤ 22:39, 19 July 2020 (UTC)
Article repeats itself
[edit]This article repeats itself. In the introduction, right below the tables of info and facts, the adverse effects of Paroxetine are laid out. Then, below in the section named "Adverse Effects" the exact same text is used. This is redundant information that should be removed to keep the article as concise as possible. I would propose that the first occurence of this text should be removed. However, I do not feel it is my place to edit and remove such a large portion of the article.

Inconsistency in medical uses - depression section
[edit]The depression subsection under medical uses claims that paroxetine is equivalent to placebo. I have checked the linked sources, and none of them supports this claim. Lukispooky (talk) 08:00, 24 June 2024 (UTC)
